Ibride Islid Tray

£70.00 £56.00

“Le Boudoir”, a series of trays in the shape of medallions, gives an amused portrayal of day birds, avid intellectuals and courteous babblers, who filled the social salons of the 19th century. Isild, an official confidante, has a perplexed look like an ingenue but slightly mocking spoken wordlike a female bird full of quick responses. Isild is a small tray, used for serving guests, which can then be displayed freely on a wall like a pictorial work, a mythological painting.

About ibride Design

ibride was born in 1996 in Fontain, France, from the family trio of Carine Jannin, Rachel and Benoît Convers. From the beginning, self-publishing has allowed the company to create singular and poetic objects whose very essence lies in nature and the animal world. Soon, ibride acquired new know-how by collaborating with prestigious brands such as Kenzo and Habitat, for which it designs and supplies tableware, lighting and other accessories. The publishing house takes a creative turn and puts an end to collaborations in order to blossom in independence and free itself from codes. The two years that followed marked the launch of two collections that have become emblematic.
